INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA FOR VISITORS

Welcome to GENVERA ELECTRIC TRADE AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT INC.!

We aim to inform you about the processing of your personal data by our Company, GENVERA ELECTRIC TRADE AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT INC. (“GENVERA” or the “Company”), in accordance with Article 10 titled “Obligation of the Data Controller to Inform” of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), published in the Official Gazette dated 7 April 2016 and numbered 29677, which aims to protect fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, particularly the right to privacy, in the processing of personal data, and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, published in the Official Gazette dated 10 March 2018 and numbered 30356.

2. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED:

Within the scope of your physical and online interactions with GENVERA, the following personal data may be processed:

i. Identity Information: Name, Surname, Turkish ID Number,
ii. Contact Information: Phone number,
iii. CCTV Records: Visual data,
iv. Cookies: Cookies used during online visits,

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA:

During your visit to our Company premises, your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring your safety within our Company premises,
  • Ensuring the security of our facilities and operations,
  • Monitoring through CCTV recording due to confidentiality and security practices,
  • Maintaining visitor records and managing entry-exit controls,
  • Welcoming visitors and establishing communication,
  • Providing visitor wireless network access,
  • Ensuring transaction security during online processes.

 

4. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA:

Your personal data may be transferred, within the scope of personal data transfer provisions under the Law and for the purposes stated in Article 3 of this Information Notice, to overseas cloud service providers due to operational requirements such as correspondence and reporting. Your data will be recorded internally to ensure security standards and may also be shared with legally authorized public institutions and organizations, law enforcement authorities, and courts when required by law.

5. METHODS AND LEGAL BASIS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA:

GENVERA collects your personal data when you contact our Company and/or establish a relationship with us, and throughout the continuation of such relationship, in order to provide the purposes and services specified above in accordance with Article 5 of the Law.

6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT:

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred,
  • To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data and notification of such correction to third parties,
  • To request deletion or destruction of personal data where the reasons requiring processing no longer exist and notification of such action to third parties,
  • To request notification to third parties regarding correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data, and to object to any adverse result arising from analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.

 

7. CONTACT US REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS AND REQUESTS:

Within the scope of the rights specified above, you may submit your requests in accordance with Article 11 of KVKK and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Application to the Data Controller by submitting a written petition or by completing the “Personal Data Application Form” available at www.genveraelektrik.com and delivering it to our address above in person, via notary, or by using registered electronic mail (KEP) to genvera@hs03.kep.tr.

Applications submitted in person will be accepted following identity verification. Your requests will be concluded as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 days, depending on their nature. If a written response is provided, no fee will be charged for up to 10 pages; for each additional page beyond 10 pages, a processing fee of 1 Turkish Lira per page may be charged in accordance with Article 7 of the Communiqué on Application Procedures. If the response is provided on a recording medium such as CD or flash drive, a fee equal to the cost of the medium may be requested.
